Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine is a Philadelphia native was raised and born there. Her mother Pam was a back-up singer with Philadelphia International Records. Her father gave her the position of curator for the Historic Strawberry Mansion. She and her family later moved into the historic mansion. The 2005 Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduates She is an instructor in vocal performance. Sullivan was a contralto in the children's choir and then just a few years later, she performed in the adults choir. Sullivan experienced only a small amount of secular music. She recalls when she was just 11 years old when a person asked her to sing solos at church. But, she wasn't yet ready for. At that time, McDonald's held a contest with children from large cities. I was allowed to perform "Accept What God Allows" in The show Showtime at the Apollo. And the people were very enthusiastic. She sang with Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday at the age of 13. Sullivan was initially signed to Jive Records at the age 15. Sullivan was initially signed by Jive Records when she was fifteen. The singer-songwriter produced an entire album. However, this album never saw release. Sullivan was later dropped from the label. Missy Elliott was her producer for a few tracks on the album she released as her first. For instance "Backstabbers", a buzz track recorded by Timbaland composed by Elliott.
